Amogha Ayurveda Retreat Terms and Conditions

Registration and Payment:

1.1. To secure your place in the Amogha Āyurveda Retreat, participants must complete the registration process and submit the required deposit or full payment, as specified by the organizers.

1.2. Registration is confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. Limited spaces are available, and early registration is recommended to guarantee participation.

1.3. The total retreat cost includes all specified inclusions as per the retreat package. Participants are responsible for additional expenses excluded from the package.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

2.1. Cancellation by Participant:

If a participant cancels their reservation:

  • More than 60 days before the retreat start date: A full refund of the paid amount, excluding the non-refundable deposit, will be provided.

  • Between 30 and 60 days before the retreat start date: 50% of the total retreat cost will be refunded, excluding any non-refundable deposit.

  • Less than 30 days before the retreat start date: No refunds will be issued. The non-refundable deposit will be retained by Amogha Āyurveda.

2.2. Cancellation by Amogha Āyurveda:

Additionally, Amogha Āyurveda reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, natural disasters, or events beyond our control. In such cases, participants will be given the choice to transfer their booking to an alternative date or receive a full refund, minus the initial non-refundable deposit.

Health and Medical Considerations:

3.1. Participants are responsible for assessing their physical and mental fitness to participate in the retreat's activities. If a participant has any medical conditions or concerns, they should seek medical advice before the retreat.

3.2. Participants must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions during registration.

3.3. Amogha Āyurveda reserves the right to deny participation to any individual who, in the opinion of the facilitators or organizers, may pose a risk to their health or the well-being of other participants.

Retreat Schedule and Activities:

4.1. The retreat schedule, activities, and facilitators are subject to change at the discretion of Amogha Āyurveda. The organizers will endeavor to provide a similar standard of activities in case of changes.

Travel and Insurance:

5.1. Participants are responsible for arranging their Air travel from their location to the nearest Airport mentioned in the itinerary. All transportation from the airport to the retreat location is included in the package, minus the tips.

5.2. Amogha Āyurveda requires participants to purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including medical coverage and trip cancellation/interruption protection, to safeguard against unforeseen circumstances.

Code of Conduct:

6.1. Participants are expected to adhere to the rules and guidelines set forth by the retreat organizers and facilitators.

6.2. Participants are encouraged to maintain a respectful and supportive attitude toward other participants, facilitators, and staff members.

Rules and Guidelines - Amogha Āyurveda Retreat

Respectful Conduct: Participants are expected to treat fellow participants, facilitators, and staff with respect and courtesy throughout the retreat.

Timeliness: Punctuality is highly valued to maintain the flow of the retreat schedule. Participants are requested to adhere to the designated activity timings.

Participation: Active participation in all scheduled activities is encouraged to maximize the benefits of the retreat experience.

Health and Safety: Participants must prioritize their well-being and follow any health or safety guidelines provided by the facilitators.

Confidentiality: Any personal information or discussions shared during the retreat should be treated with confidentiality and respect for each participant's privacy.

No Alcohol or Drugs: The retreat environment promotes well-being and healing, and participants are expected to refrain from consuming alcohol or using recreational drugs during the retreat.

Disruptive Behavior: Any behavior that disrupts the peaceful and harmonious atmosphere of the retreat is discouraged and may result in appropriate action by the organizers.

Electronic Devices: To fully immerse in the retreat experience, participants are encouraged to limit the use of electronic devices during scheduled activities.

Personal Belongings: Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. Amogha Āyurveda is not liable for any loss or damage to personal items.

Consent: During the retreat, facilitators may conduct certain practices or therapies. Participants are encouraged to provide informed consent and may opt out of any practice if they are uncomfortable.

Quiet Hours: To ensure a serene environment, quiet hours may be observed during specific times of the day.

Cultural and Spiritual Respect: As we embark on this transformative journey, participants are expected to embrace and respect the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the country. This includes showing reverence for sacred sites, traditions, and local customs.

Dress Code: As per Vedic etiquette, modest and appropriate attire is required when in the presence of Vaidyas, Brahmins, or spiritual masters. Please dress respectfully, covering your shoulders and knees. Feet Should never point toward the teachers.

Language and Communication: While English is commonly spoken in the retreat setting, being sensitive to the local language and attempting to learn and use basic phrases is appreciated as a sign of cultural respect.

Photography: Before taking photographs of people, places, or rituals, please seek permission and be mindful of cultural sensitivities.

Environmental Awareness: Let's be conscious of the environment during our stay in India. Dispose of waste responsibly and support efforts to maintain cleanliness.

Spiritual Practices: During spiritual ceremonies or practices, participants are requested to be observant and respectful, even if it may be unfamiliar to their own beliefs.

Openness to Learning: Embrace the opportunity to learn about Indian customs, traditions, and spiritual practices with an open mind and heart.

Local Customs: Be attentive to local customs and practices, and adapt to them to ensure a harmonious and enriching experience.

Responsible Tourism: As travelers, we strive to be responsible tourists, supporting local businesses, artisans, and cultural heritage.

Sensitivity to Others: In this diverse retreat community, participants are encouraged to be understanding and accepting of others' beliefs practices, and cultural backgrounds.

Safety and Well-being: Participants are encouraged to prioritize their safety and well-being while engaging in any cultural or spiritual activities.

By registering for the Amogha Āyurveda Retreat, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Participants further acknowledge that these Terms and Conditions form a binding agreement between them and Amogha Āyurveda.
